Handbrake is by far the best video conversion tool I have ever used and I have used a few of them including tools that cost over $100.00. It was original designed for ripping DVD's to mp4 iPod compatible video files but it has evolved. I use it to convert files before uploading to YouTube or Vimeo. I also want to give respect to
VLC Media Player. I have been using it for almost 8 years and it has proven to be the best, fastest, and most compatible audio/video player on the market. I might also add that they are both FREE so I encourage you to try them out!!
